Our Story

Where Seniors Feel
Truly at Home

Pine Court began with a straightforward question — what would it feel like if every senior had a place where they were known by name, welcomed at the door, and surrounded by growing things?

Who We Are

A Home Rooted in Quiet Care

Pine Court opened its doors in Sham Shui Po with the belief that comfort, companionship, and a patch of garden can do a great deal of good. We are not a medical facility. We are a home — one that happens to be staffed with thoughtful, attentive people who understand that getting older is easier when life has rhythm and warmth.

Our building sits quietly on Cheung Sha Wan Road, a neighbourhood with a familiar, unhurried character that suits the pace of daily life here. Residents have private rooms, share meals in a communal dining area, and can step out into the garden whenever the mood takes them.

We keep the number of residents small by design. This means staff know each person — their preferences, their routines, what helps them have a good day. It is care without the institutional feel.

Our Mission

Calm Days. Good Company. Space to Breathe.

Our mission is a simple one: to give seniors in Hong Kong a place where they feel genuinely settled. Not managed. Not processed. Settled. That means taking the small things seriously — the quality of the afternoon light in the sitting room, whether the garden has something in bloom, whether a resident's favourite dish appears on the menu.

We work with families to understand each person before they arrive, and we stay in regular touch after. Decisions are made with residents rather than for them, whenever possible. That is what home means to us.

The People Here

Our Team

Our staff come from care backgrounds and share a genuine affection for working with older adults. They are the reason residents feel at ease.

Priya works closely with families during the settling-in period and remains a reliable point of contact throughout a resident's stay. Her warmth puts people at ease from the first phone call.

Our Standards

How We Approach Care

Every part of life at Pine Court is shaped by a few deeply held principles. These aren't policies on paper — they're habits built over years of working closely with residents and their families.

Safety as a Quiet Given

Our home is designed so that residents move freely and safely. Staff are always present, and every space — from corridors to the garden — is maintained with careful attention to accessibility and comfort.

Meals with Thought

Three meals are served daily, using fresh, seasonal produce. Menus rotate to offer variety, and dietary preferences or restrictions are accommodated without fuss.

Privacy Respected

Residents' personal information is held with care and never shared without consent. We handle family communication sensitively, recognising that each person's situation is different.

Open Communication

Families are kept informed and welcomed. We encourage regular visits and stay in touch with family members who have questions or concerns — promptly and honestly.

Clean, Tended Spaces

Rooms and shared areas are cleaned daily. Laundry is handled regularly. The garden is tended throughout the week. A well-kept environment matters to how people feel in it.

Dignity in Every Interaction

Staff are encouraged to take their time with residents — to listen, to include them in decisions, and to speak with them as the individuals they are, not as tasks to be managed.

Senior Residential Living in Sham Shui Po, Kowloon

Pine Court occupies a settled position in the Sham Shui Po district of Kowloon, offering non-medical residential accommodation for elderly adults who value community, daily structure, and access to outdoor green space. The home is well-connected to the wider Kowloon area and is reachable by a range of public transport routes, making family visits straightforward.

We operate as a small home intentionally. The scale allows for a quality of attention that larger facilities find difficult to sustain. Residents are not anonymous here. Their preferences, their habits, and their histories shape how the home functions, day by day.

For families in Hong Kong searching for a residential option that feels personal rather than institutional, Pine Court offers a considered alternative. We welcome enquiries from families at any stage of their decision-making process — there is no obligation to commit, and no pressure to decide quickly.

Come and See the Home for Yourself

We're always glad to show families around. A visit often answers more questions than a phone call can. Reach out, and we'll arrange a time that works.
